Dennis Shearin

Dennis is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist with a wide range of influences, including rock, Celtic, bluegrass, African, Middle Eastern and Caribbean. He has recorded or appeared on the same bill with John Sebastian, The Band, The Spin Doctors, Jay Unger, members of The Grateful Dead, The New Riders of the Purple Sage, Orleans, and more. He has performed at venues like The National Folk Festival, Piccolo Spoleto, The Bitter End in Greenwich Village, the QE2, the World Trade Center, and many renaissance festivals - including a sixteen year run at the New York Renaissance Festival. He has entertained people like former NY Mayor Rudy Guiliani, Walter Cronkite, Regis Philbin, Al Roker, and more.

Kirk Lohry

Kirk has a B.A. in Music from Naropa University and received the Colin Walcott Award for the Preservation of World Music. He has been studying and performing world music for 30 years. His training has included intensive study with master drummers from Cuban, Haitian and West African traditions as well as study of East Indian ragas, Jazz, contemporary improvisation, Celtic music, dance accompaniment and various world music traditions.

In addition to his work with Jamundo, Kirk is the leader and founder of the Thomas Rhythm Collective, an African percussion ensemble.
